Biomes and Environments

The planet of Namikoru was not chosen at random, but it was chosen because it was the perfect planet resembling Japan and their ecosystems. Of course some areas managed to be nothing present on Earth but over all the planet consists of Japanese ecosystems and biomes. In the northern area, the planet is full of subarctic tundras and also contains the occasional volcano. The volcanoes and their discovery in the north provided the scientists with a thought of success when they realized that the name of the volcanoes in Namikoru were the same as those of Japan, such as the very popular Mount Fuji.

In the area of Namikoru, there are also Alpine tundras located on the mountain ranges of the planet, which provides a breathtaking view of the land and how the natives manage to harmonize with their environment, something Earth humans didn’t manage to do. The planet also manages to have coastal deserts, which are abundant due to the planet’s amount of beaches. This is due to the fact that Earth’s Japan is an island, so the planet’s land is basically a Japan shaped Pangaea. It is self dependent, and the planet’s native people manage to use each of their environments for their own benefits. The only difference of between the planet and regular Japan is that the volcanoes in the area actually lacked magma, and they led to an underground area that seemed like a bottomless pit. This underground area was then expanded and used as a command base for the scientists who supervised the planet’s events.
